Executive Coaching
Executive coaching is a form of supported learning and involves one to one meetings with a specialist coach. It is designed to help an individual through both their personal learning and development process and approach to work situations.
Executive coaching is focused on the achievement of work related goals and helps managers handle change with confidence.
We have experienced and skilled coaches who use a combination of observation, questioning, listening and feedback to help coachees gain insight into how they might find new ways of resolving their current issues.
Action Learning
Action learning is a constructive and cost effective approach that helps solve current, important problems, whilst at the same time offering effective learning for the participants and the organisation.
Action learning assumes that people learn most effectively with and from each other by working on existing problems and reflecting on their own experience.
We have highly skilled Set Advisers who work with small groups to help them increase confidence in tackling problems, create networks of support, plus develop new ideas and ways of working.
Management Development
The Newbury Group has developed a flexible approach to providing customised leadership and management development opportunities. This flexible approach is based on a five step model and a modular approach to the key topics.
This model can be used at all levels in the organisation, including first-line, middle and senior management. We believe the involvement of the individual’s own managers in the briefing and debriefing stages of the process maximises the impact of the programme. The duration of each element can be tailored to suit each client‘s specific needs. To ensure accurate targeting of the programme we usually conduct a training needs analysis as a first step in the preparation phase.
